Description/content

The Business Administration with Informatics programme is perfect for anyone who regards himself or herself as an internationally active team player in business and who would like to develop solutions in the field of applied informatics. The course of study combines a broad and comprehensive education in business administration with information technology. A focus is set on modern business enterprise tools such as SAP and e-commerce. Taught by international lecturers, students from more than 60 countries learn the characteristics of intercultural cooperation during their studies.

The standard period of study is seven semesters. The study course offers a solid basic education in the two core areas of business and IT. In the area of "Business Administration", students acquire comprehensive knowledge of business administration, financial accounting, business mathematics, economics, marketing, entrepreneurship and innovation, and logistics. The second core area, "Information Technology", includes modules such as enterprise resource planning, business analytics, information management systems, databases and e-business. Moreover, students acquire a profound knowledge of business English as well as soft skills relevant for their professional career. A selection of business and IT electives addresses the latest needs of the global labour market in the field.

The multicultural learning environment hones the ability to interact appropriately and successfully with individuals from different cultural groups. All lectures are exclusively taught in English. This allows students to improve their language level to international standards and later communicate successfully in companies around the world without difficulties.
