Exchange universities for stay abroads

Université Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble, Frankreich; Università degli Studi di Pisa, Pisa, Italien; Uniwersytet Im. Adama Mickiewicza, Poznan, Polen; Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Lisboa, Portugal; Lunds universitet, Lund, Schweden; Universidad de Valencia, Valencia, Spanien; National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan; National University of Singapore, Singapur; Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan; Monash University, Melbourne, Australien

Special features regarding research activities

The Centre for Quantum Biosciences promotes collaborative research at the interface of quantum technology, chemistry, biology and medicine. In the SALVE project, sensitive (bio)samples are investigated using a low-voltage electron microscope with subatomic resolution. At IQST, quantum technologies are developed to improve sensor technology with applications in the life sciences. Physicists work in research networks to study biomolecules in order to understand how they function in organisms and the principles underlying life processes.

Support for founders

Founder's Garage project; start-up support.

Other special features

Integrated Quantum Science and Technology; DLR Institute Quantum Technologies; Centre for Quantum Biosciences.
