Dear Madame/ Sir, You are now applying for the training module: Proposal Writing Skills for a PhD By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to: Explain the purpose and assessment criteria of a strong PhD research proposal. Translate a broad topic into a focused research problem, gap, and set of research questions. Structure the main sections of a coherent and convincing proposal. Select and justify an appropriate, feasible, and ethically sound methodology. Develop a realistic research plan and timeline. Align a proposal with PhD application requirements and the German academic context. Evaluate and improve a draft proposal using a practical review checklist and feedback.
