Register here for our next Digital Education Regulars on Thursday, April 18th at 3 p.m. CEST.

The creation of an open digital education ecosystem is an often stated objective, but how does one go about actually doing it? On this month’s double bill, we’ll be talking to both Dr Gill Ferrell and Xavi Aracil about their work at 1EdTech in the field of open standards. Join us on Thursday, April 18th at 3 p.m. CEST, when we will be discussing what data relevant open standards, such as Open Badges and Comprehensive Learner Record hold and how these map to different European instruments, such as the European Learning Model. Find out how these global open standards fit into the European digital credential ecosystem and what steps can be taken to adopt these, thus allowing learners to collect and share their credentials in a machine readable, privacy respecting and tamper evident way.
