RISE Professional – Application portal

You are a Master student or PhD candidate at a North American, British or Irish University? Great! Then you are ready to get started with your application for the RISE Professional program.

The application is possible from October 15 to November 30.  Applications are reviewed by January 7. At the end of February you will be notified whether or not your application has been successful.

Carefully check the internship options:
Attention recent graduates (applicants who are not enrolled during the time of the internship): This year, there are only a few offers that accept applications of recent grads. Due to special regulations in Germany not all companies are able to offer positions for interns without enrollment.

Please use the filter “recent graduates” in our database to only view offers that accept your application. Applications for other projects cannot be approved.

Complete the online application form  and upload the following documents:

WHICH DOCUMENTS DO YOU NEED? (PDF FORMAT)

  1. Motivation (cover) letter addressed to the companies you apply for
  2. Curriculum vitae/résumé
  3. Letter of reference from a past employer (if available)
  4. List of subjects studied by the time the internship begins
  5. Current university/college transcript
  6. Previous Bachelor and/or Master certificate degree (mandatory if applicable)
  7. Completed “Certificate of enrolment” form (has to show the expected date of graduation download document)
  8. Copy of the passport
  9. Letter of reference from a senior academic / professor in your field of study

Please note:

  • Only completed applications can be considered and will be passed to the companies. If you have problems with getting official documents due to the pandemic situation, please contact us.
  • You may be contacted by the companies to which you have applied to discuss any question related to the application.
