Dr Oyerinde Ganiyu Titilope is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Doctoral Research Program Climate Change and Water Resources at the University of Abomey Calavi (Benin). He finished his PhD in 2016 with Distinction Grade. After his PhD he was Project Coordinator and Part-time lecturer at Indorama Eleme Fertilizer and Chemicals Limited (IEFCL) and University of Abuja, Nigeria respectively till he started his Postdoc. At IEFCL he led a team that was able to train more than 100,000 small-holder farmers in Climate Change Adaptation and Best Agronomic Practices since 2018-2020. He has mentored undergraduate and post-graduate research students at the Department of Soil Science University of Abuja from 2017-2020. His post-doctoral research focuses on providing solutions to different sources of uncertainties in hydro-meteorological modelling in the Niger Basin and west Africa. His research will improve lives of citizens of 10 Niger basin countries and beyond.
