On 7 June 2021, the DAAD and its partners invite you to a special event during the Long Night of Ideas hosted by the Federal Foreign Office. Join us on our event space for an excursion into the digital student journey and discover the possibilities of online learning and virtual exchange.

As a team effort by the DAAD and FernUniversität in Hagen, TH Lübeck, Kiron and g.a.s.t., the programme will offer workshops, creative activities and short online learning offers to explore on your own.

Following the path(s) that a student journey can take, you get insights into how digitalisation changes learning and teaching at higher education institutions.

Great Expectations: digitalisation & internationalisation

You can try out digital study preparation courses and test your language skills. Or would you like to discuss new formats of international exchange and learn more about digital credentials? Critical perspectives on digitalisation and questions about inclusion and exclusion will also be part of the event. From exploring your own individual student journey to inspiring conversations with DAAD alumni – there is a lot to discover during the Long Night of Ideas.
