The working group aims at bridging the gap between climate researchers and decision makers in Africa by creating assess to quality and useful hydrometeorological research outputs for evidence-based climate-resilient sustainable development planning.
To generate and communicate relevant weather, climate and water-related information on the past, present and possible future climate for shaping policy, decision support and optimum action in climate-sensitive priority sectors such as agriculutre and food security, health, water resources, disaster risk reduction, and energy. The targeted audience will include public and private organizations, policy makers, academic institutions and other interested stakeholders.
