Discover AI: Introduction for bachelor's students

As part of the RISE program, students have the opportunity to complete a research-related internship.
RISE Germany is aimed at bachelor's students from the US, Canada, the UK, and Ireland who would like to gain practical research experience at a German university or non-university research institution. For advanced students and graduates from these countries, RISE Professional offers the opportunity to complete an internship in German industry. RISE Worldwide, on the other hand, enables bachelor's students at German universities to complete a research internship abroad. Projects in the field of artificial intelligence are currently in high demand – an ideal entry point into a highly topical and promising field of research.

With the International Research Fellowships for Computer Scientists (IFI), we support research-oriented stays abroad – tailored to your individual projects in AI and related disciplines. The Postdoc-NeT-AI programme goes one step further: It brings together German and international AI researchers in an interactive, virtual networking week – an ideal springboard for scientific collaborations. As an international researcher, you can then get to know German cutting-edge research on site and start your own short-term research projects at an institution in Germany – as a starting point for long-term collaboration.
