Erasmus+ Impact Report

In the Erasmus+ Impact Report 2024, the National Agency for Erasmus+ Higher Education Cooperation (NA DAAD) uses selected examples to show how Erasmus+ has a positive impact at both the individual and systemic levels. The report offers a wealth of exciting content that clearly illustrates the importance of Erasmus+ for internationalisation in higher education.

Erasmus+ stands for forward-looking skills and shared democratic values gained through European exchange and cooperation. Erasmus+ thus makes Europe more future-proof through education.

The political significance of Erasmus+ goes far beyond individual educational pathways: in a time of political and social challenges, the programme makes a decisive contribution to strengthening participation, resilience and democratic values – cornerstones of a sustainable, united society. It is an essential building block for European cohesion and the shaping of a common future.

For higher education institutions, Erasmus+ offers a unique opportunity to advance their internationalisation, strengthen their skills and actively shape the European community. The programme promotes not only professional qualifications, but also intercultural competence, foreign languages and independence – qualities that are essential for personal development and the labour market.
