Special features regarding the library

Locations: The university maintains a library on each campus, which students can use equally – regardless of which campus they are studying at.; Stock: Electronic stock: 360,000 e-media (e-books, educational videos); 50,000 e-journals; 5,600 AV materials. Print stock: 80,000 media items; 245 journal subscriptions; Services: The library provides literature on the courses of study offered at the university. Specialist databases complement the offer. As a DIN info point, full-text access to all DIN standards is possible. Theses and university publications can be published electronically in the repository OPUS-HSO. There is an academic writing support service for students. The library is responsible for open access. There are 180 reading spaces (individual and group workspaces). Opening hours: Mon-Fri 08 am - 6 pm, Sat 9 am - 1 pm; shortened times in the lecture-free periods.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Students attending the institution can participate in the sports programme of the University of Freiburg, Pädagogische Hochschule Freiburg University of Education, and ULP Strasbourg. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. You can view our entire sports programme via our Asta Instagram channel.
