The degree course teaches the basic knowledge, skills and abilities that an engineer in the wood industry must have. Students can develop an initial profile in the areas of furniture/interior design or building components/structural timber engineering. Other compulsory elective modules allow students to focus on, for example, furniture or interior design. During the practical phases, students work on projects of direct practical relevance. In doing so, they deepen and expand their theoretically acquired knowledge and learn how to apply it.
