There are flexible options for structuring the degree course internationally. In addition to English-language lectures, the practical semester and the Bachelor's thesis can be completed abroad. The 6th semester is completely reserved for the study abroad (with recognition of credits). An English-language semester in "Optoelectronics Mechatronics" is offered for international students. Rapid Prototyping: Production of components from CAD data, 3D printing Laboratory for Model-Based System Development: Control and regulation of Mechatronics systems. Various efforts to win new target groups for the Mechatronics subject area (MekA); Teaching award of the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg 2017 for innovative teaching concepts in mechatronics; Office for the credit transfer database "andaba" (database for the crediting of university and non-university skills for the universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg), publication of various student projects, excursions and exchange of experiences with regional companies, cooperation with the KUKA College and the technical schools of the region.
