Strong empirical experimental focus, broad diagnostic and methodological education. Degree course compliant with licensing requirements. A variety of current third-party-funded research projects relating to the psychological disciplines represented in the department, both in fundamentals research (often experimental research approaches) and applied research. Alexander von Humboldt Professorship in Translational Clinical Psychology. Close research cooperation with the Departments of Medicine, Pharmacology and Physics.
