The professorship of the Contractor's department with its relevant industrial experience is excellently suited to convey both the application-oriented and the scientific content of the degree course. The close links between teaching and application in the practicals and the ideal ratio of professors to students create an excellent environment for academic success. The courses are supported by e-Learning modules, including exercises, certificates and films which give information about upcoming laboratory experiments.

The faculty supports students in all degree courses who want to do part of their studies abroad. Study abroad usually takes place with English-speaking countries, e.g. the USA, Singapore and Finland. Practical semester and final theses are often written in Switzerland and Austria. Guest students come from partner universities in Argentina, Singapore and Spain. The professors of the faculty give lectures on internal scientific Conferences and are active in the context of the Erasmus programme at partner universities, e.g. Vienna.

Comprehensive analysis as well as measuring and testing technology; BTB: modern, new laboratories; Biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, bioprocess engineering with state of-the-art equipment and facilities; Additional laboratory for use as a "bioengineering centre" for all Biotechnology departments and specifically as a research laboratory.
