Annotation
Electrical engineering is an indispensable prerequisite for modern society and for innovation in all sectors of industry. The key areas of the course Electrical Energy Engineering, Automation Technology and Electromobility meet the growing demand of industry in precisely these areas. Automation technology is about designing machines and plants in such a way that they can be operated largely independently and without major human involvement. Electrical energy engineering deals with the traditional and decentralised supply of electrical energy from alternative sources as well as the use, transformation, storage and transport of such energy via intelligent energy management systems and electric drives. Electromobility focuses on future developments in the automotive industry and comprises all topics related to e-mobility, from energy-saving mobile electric drives to energy storage and necessary electronics components.
