Wide range of pedagogical fields of action: The Master of Education opens the possibility to combine the first state examination with the acquisition of the Master's degree. Other possible focus areas are in the pedagogical fields of action: 'Information and Media Literacy', 'Art Education', 'Education Management', 'Museum Education' and 'Integration, Interculturality and Diversity'

Admission requirements

A prerequisite for admission to the course is a degree in an undergraduate course (Bachelor, state examination or equivalent degree) with an overall grade of 2.5 or better and at least 15 ECTS credit points from Educational Science. If your first degree does not include 15 ECTS credits from the educational sciences, you have the opportunity to obtain additional services within one year of starting your studies. Applicants without a first degree in educational science must prove a first academic degree in a subject that can be assigned to one of the subjects taught at the University of Passau.
