Annotation
The Bachelor's degree in Education and Teaching is aimed at students interested in a career in teaching at primary schools OR intermediate schools and German lower secondary schools. The Bachelor's degree course qualifies students to enter a profession. Professional qualification, particularly for activities within the professional fields of education associated with school and non-school education in the pre-school, primary and secondary I sectors, is based on the acquisition of well-founded academic skills related to Music, the respective combination subject and to Educational Sciences. The course of study is divided into two teaching subjects, whereby Music must be chosen as one of the subjects for the later career goal of TEACHING AT PRIMARY SCHOOLS, as well as German or Mathematics (possibly admission restrictions). For the subject combinations for the Master’s Teaching Qualification for Intermediate and Lower Secondary Schools, please see here: https://www.uni-osnabrueck.de/studieren/unsere-studienangebote/abschluesse-und-ordnungen/lehramt-bachelor-und-master/lehramt-an-haupt-und-realschulen#c15628 The study programme with the core curriculum (KCL-BEU) also includes an inter-disciplinary professional qualification area that must be completed. The course of study involves two placements of at least nine weeks in total.
