Target group

The Master’s degree course is aimed at German or international graduates who have completed a degree in Law or have earned their Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering and want to explore the interplay between law and technology. The career-integrated programme is aimed at young professionals who need to balance their studies with their current job. It is just as attractive for international students who want to spend a year at another university and participate in further academic activities such as research or language training.

Admission requirements

The requirement is a qualified certificate of academic degree in a suitable Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme. Suitable degree courses are, for example, German, European or International Law, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Cognitive Sciences, (Computer) Linguistics, Mathematics or Engineering Sciences. Participants with international (Law) degrees (EU or non-EU) are particularly encouraged to apply. For further information, see the admission regulations.

Candidates must also demonstrate good English proficiency.

The fee is payable in two instalments at the beginning of the first and second semester. In many cases, these fees are paid by the applicant’s company.

In addition, semester contributions are payable for studying at the University of Osnabrück. Depending on how much of your "study credit" you use up (standard period of study plus tolerance semester), you may also have to pay long-term tuition fees.
