Target group

The degree programme is specifically designed for working people and is aimed at experienced professionals as well as at those who aspire to a management position in tax, legal or business consulting. The main target groups are lawyers, corporate lawyers, tax consultants, auditors and employees of the tax departments of large and medium-sized companies, associations, foundations and chambers as well as in financial administration. The degree course is also suitable for young graduates and young professionals as well as trainees who want to acquire an additional, internationally recognised qualification.

Practical experience required for admission: In addition to a completed first university degree, you will need the following practical experience: - one year of relevant professional experience or - at least two years of relevant professional experience if aiming for the university degree "Executive Master of Business Administration" (EMBA). Admission requirements

The requirement for admission is a successfully completed university degree in Law or Economics with the following qualifications: • State Examination • Diploma degree, Bachelor’s or Master’s academic degree (graduating among the top 50% of all graduates) from a university worth at least 240 ECTS credits. Up to 60 ECTS points can be obtained on the basis of professional qualifications. Basic knowledge of tax law is strongly recommended. For this degree course, you should have obtained your first certificate of academic degree in a degree course of the following subject groups and/or study areas: • Subject group: Economics, law Minimum language proficiency required: • DSH-2 (German) Proof of relevant professional experience
