Minor subject in the combination Bachelor's degree course - only possible in combination with a major subject Standard period of study: 6 or 8 semesters (depending on combination) The degree depends on the major subject chosen. Further information on the structure of the combination Bachelor's degree course can be found here: https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/studium/studieninteressierte/studienmoeglichkeiten/kombibachelor In our minor subject "Psychology", you can expect a structured education that will take you step by step from the basics to specialised areas. At the beginning, you will receive a comprehensive overview of central psychological concepts, theories and methods in the basic component. You will learn the fundamentals of biological and general psychology as well as social, developmental and personality psychology. In the advanced component, you will deepen your knowledge in specific fields of application, such as occupational and organisational psychology, clinical psychology or educational psychology. Here you will get an even deeper insight into applied psychology and its practical relevance. The specialisation component allows you to further specialise in one of the exciting fields of application. For example, you can focus on Business Psychology, Health and Counselling Psychology or Neuroscience Psychology and intensify your knowledge in a subject area of your choice. An integral part of the degree course is the MarSkills combined Bachelor’s degree course, in which you acquire attractive and future-oriented key skills (see www.uni-marburg.de/marskills).
