Studying economics means: Handling analyses of economic activities of consumers, companies and public institutions. In economics, focus is placed on the fundamental economic connections of a society at both the level of economic units (microeconomics) and at the macroeconomic level (macroeconomics). In business administration, you focus on the economic contexts of individual companies and their operational processes. Five different profiles allow you to set individual focuses: Applied Economics, Business Economics, International Finance, Psychology and Human Resources, Business Education. Some specialisations enable a flexible semester for work placements or a stay abroad. Good mathematics and English language skills and analytical thinking skills are needed. An introduction to the degree course will be provided at the study days in March (www.uni.kn/studientage) or at the online study information day in mid-November (www.uni.kn/online-studieninformationstag).
