Annotation

Food policy in society, involving manufacturers, retailers, consumers and health professionals, is complex and constantly evolving. The Master’s degree programme qualifies its graduates for responsible tasks in different fields of activity in specialist and interface positions in national and international food companies and related organisations. It is characterised by a multidisciplinary approach encompassing food, economics and consumer sciences. In particular, our graduates are able to handle and manage complex processes in the food industry, trade and agriculture, both independently and as part of a team. They have a comprehensive understanding of the specific needs of consumers with regard to greater sustainability, taking into account cultural differences and the importance of regional supply chains.
