Target group

The degree course is aimed at people with a first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree in Degree courses in the field of History of the Natural Sciences or subject-related study programmes and equivalent to a Bachelor's degree amounting to 180 credits at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

Admission requirements

A subject related requirement is proof of a degree, preferably in the field of history of natural sciences, with an above-average overall grade. Sufficient knowledge of the English language is indispensable for the degree course; proof is not required. Alternatively, the recognition of another scientific language can be applied for. International applicants must provide proof of German language proficiency at the level of the DSH examination (min. level 2), the TestDaF (TDN 4x4) or a recognised equivalent.
