Target group
The degree course is aimed at graduates with a first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree in degree programmes in the field of German Studies with a focus on Literary Studies or Philosophy or subject-related study programmes and equivalent to a Bachelor's degree amounting to 180 credits at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.
Admission requirements
The subject-related prerequisite is proof of academic achievements in the field of German studies (German literature or modern German literature) or philosophy (at least 50 credit points) as well as language skills in two foreign languages (in the case of modern foreign languages at level B1). International applicants must provide proof of German language proficiency at the level of the DSH examination (min. level 2), the TestDaF (TDN 4x4) or a recognised equivalent.
