Target group
The degree course is aimed at graduates with a first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree in degree programmes in the field of Geography or subject-related study programmes and equivalent to a Bachelor's degree amounting to 180 credits at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

Admission requirements
The requirement is proof of academic achievement in the subject of geography (min. 180 CP) and an overall grade of at least 'good' or an equivalent degree with at least 50 CP in economic/social geography or physical geography/soil science. Sufficient command of the English language. International applicants must provide proof of German language proficiency at the level of the DSH examination (min. level 2), the TestDaF (TDN 4x4) or a recognised equivalent.
