The degree course is aimed at graduates with a first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree in degree programmes in the field of Biology, Biochemistry, Biology or subject-related study programmes and equivalent to a Bachelor's degree amounting to 180 credits at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

Admission requirements

A subject related requirement is proof of academic achievement in natural science subjects to the extent of at least 120 credit points, of which at least 100 must be in chemical, biological or biochemical subjects. Adequate knowledge of the English language is an absolute prerequisite for the course. International applicants must provide proof of German language proficiency at the level of the DSH examination (min. level 2), the TestDaF (TDN 4x4) or a recognised equivalent.
