The Master's degree programme is aimed at all those who have earned a Bachelor's degree in educational science or a related subject (including sociology, diversity studies, gender studies and cultural anthropology). Alternatively, achievements in the educational sciences or a degree course with educational science components, successful completion of which also entitles the holder to take up a teacher training-related Master´s degree programme, can also be recognised as professionally relevant. The Master’s degree programme enables you to identify the mechanisms and consequences of the emergence and consolidation of inequalities in the context of education. We qualify our graduates for (management) positions in the education system as well as in culture, science and (education) policy, which require sensitivity and competence in dealing with the emergence and interaction of mechanisms of discrimination and privilege.
