The degree course in Home Economics conveys core competences in equal measure in the areas of Nutrition, Domestic Sciences and Food Economics. This includes knowledge of food, physiological principles of human nutrition and the prevention of illnesses, as well as everyday economic and social concerns, together with the economic analysis of the processing and marketing of foods and the importance of nutrition in the area of public health.
