Target group

Bachelor's graduates in Nutritional Sciences, Ecotrophology or graduates of a Bachelor's degree course with a specialisation profile that constitutes a basis for commencing the Master's degree course. Decisions are made by the Examination Committee.

Annotation

Der Studiengang vermittelt vertiefte Kenntnisse im Bereich der Ernährungswissenschaften mit der Möglichkeit einer individuellen Schwerpunktsetzung in den Bereichen präventive und therapeutische Ernährung oder Lebensmittelwissenschaften. Studierende befassen sich vertieft mit physiologischen und biochemischen Prozessen der menschlichen Ernährung, mit deren Störungen, der Zusammensetzung und Analyse von Lebensmitteln sowie der funktionellen Wirkweise von Lebensmittelinhaltsstoffen.

Admission requirements

Admission requirement is a relevant Bachelor's degree. The following Bachelor's degree is currently relevant: • Nutritional Sciences Applicants who have completed a Bachelor's degree in Ecotrophology must demonstrate knowledge in the following areas in order to be admitted: • Nutrition Sciences / Nutrition Physiology • Nutritional Medicine / Pathobiochemistry • Food Sciences The Examination Board may recognise other courses as equivalent in the context of the application and admission procedure after a case-by-case examination.
