Admission requirements

Completion of a university degree in "Mechanical Engineering", "Industrial Engineering" or "Design" or another relevant degree course and an overall grade of at least "good" (2.5) as well as evidence of aptitude for the Product Design and Process Development degree course. Other degree courses may be considered relevant if they contain business administration and technical or design-oriented technical components worth at least 90 credit points for the four-semester Master's course and at least 60 credit points and evidence of a project abroad for the three-semester Master's course. The Selection Committee ascertains whether the applicant meets the aptitude requirement for the degree course in a separate aptitude assessment procedure. The procedure comprises: 1. Letter of motivation 2. Assignment 3. Selection interview The Selection Committee decides whether the applicant is suitable for the three-semester and/or four-semester Master’s course.
