1. Graduates with a degree in any discipline, who after completing their first degree with an additional information science qualification, prepare themselves for a specialised task or / and a managerial role in a scientific or public library or another, also privately organised information facility. 2. Librarians (Diploma, Bachelor) as well as other information specialists with a comparable degree.

Admission requirements

To be accepted onto the course, students must have successfully completed a university degree, provide proof of practical work lasting 12 months and have passed a university selection procedure. The required practical activity must have been completed in full by the time studies commence. Evidence of foreign language skills: at least level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

1,500.00 EUR / semester

The fee is 1,500.- Euro per semester. This is in addition to the regular semester contribution of the TH Köln (not including the semester ticket for the VRS and the Semester Ticket NRW).
