Ambitious people from the entertainment industry with at least one year of professional experience in the development, production or distribution of entertainment content for TV, streaming/digital platforms (e.g. editors, (junior) producers, production managers, freelance authors, creators), or from individual entertainment production trades (e.g. editing, direction, camera, casting, etc.), as well as from related industries such as events or theatre production.

Annotation

The Master's degree course in ENTERTAINMENT PRODUCING is organised as part of a cooperation agreement with TH Köln (Cologne University of Applied Sciences) at the ifs (International Film School Cologne). The degree course commences every other year in the winter semester. Next commencement in the winter semester 2027/2028. Admission requirements

A Bachelor's academic degree (or equivalent) worth at least 180 ECTS credit points or a higher degree (e.g. a German Magister or Diploma degree) from a recognised university Very good proficiency in German and good proficiency in English The ifs welcomes applications from ambitious people working in the entertainment industry who have earned degrees in non-related subjects. Applicants must have at least one year of professional experience in the entertainment industry – in production/editing or in the individual creative trades of production (e.g. directing, camera, editing, casting, etc.). It is also possible to apply from a related practical area such as events, theatre or transmedia/multimedia production.
