Target group

Applicants who want to engage both practically and theoretically with media and new digital technologies and stories from areas such as storytelling, film, games, journalism, etc. Applicants must have a BA degree or an equivalent or higher academic degree and at least one year of specialised professional experience or similar professional project experience.

Annotation

The Master´s degree programme in DIGITAL NARRATIVES is organised as part of a cooperation agreement with the TH Cologne at the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln (international film school). The degree course commences every other year in the winter semester. Next commencement in the winter semester 2026/2027. Admission requirements

A Bachelor's degree with proof of at least 180 ECTS (or a comparable academic degree or higher degree). To ensure that educational certificates and degrees obtained abroad meet the admission requirements of the ifs (university qualifications), applicants can consult the following database: http://anabin.kmk.org. At least one year of specialised professional experience or comparable professional project experience after the Bachelor's academic degree. In justified exceptional cases, applicants with exceptional artistic skills who lack one or more of these formal requirements in their CV may be admitted to the degree course as further education participants.
