Target group

Graduates with a Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Mathematics or Business Mathematics. The course focuses on the mathematical foundations, methods and procedures as well as their applications in the areas of finance, insurance and management. This includes: Design and evaluation of financial, investment and insurance products (especially after the financial crisis) Risk and quality management (also in the context of the requirements according to IFRS, Basel III and Solvency II), the planning, control, simulation and optimisation of business processes. Fields of work: Career opportunities at banks (portfolio management, Financial Engineering), insurance, management consultants and Auditors, IT service providers, in staff, planning and controlling departments of companies, in Public Service (administration, planning and statistics departments) or in research departments.
