Annotation

A picture is worth a thousand words and is the central medium of communication in the English-language degree course BA in Illustration. Here you will learn to tell stories through drawing and convey messages through images. You will develop an understanding of the interplay between image and text and learn methods and techniques of research, conception and visual implementation. Using the basic building blocks of storytelling, you will develop your own designs for a wide range of illustration tasks - from graphic novels to children's books.

Admission requirements

To apply for the Bachelor's degree programme in Illustration Music, you will need: - Certificate of general higher education entrance qualification or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification - Alternatively, an occupational qualification can provide access * - Portfolio with approx. 20 examples of your own creative work - Curriculum vitae with current passport photo - Copy of identity document (front and back), copy of passport or national identity card for foreign students

Nationality EU/EEA including Switzerland, the Western Balkans and Ukraine: EUR 750/month Nationality Non-EU/EEA: EUR 4,950/semester The monthly or semester contribution remains the same throughout the entire period of study. A one-off registration fee of EUR 750 (EU/EEA) or EUR 1,000 (non-EU/EEA) will be charged.
