Annotation

In the 4th semester, students can opt for a field of study (Vehicle Technology or Virtual Product and Process Development), but are not required to do so. Students who do not choose a discipline specialise according to their interests in general mechanical engineering in energy/drive/vehicle or aviation or production engineering, product development, simulation and/or marketing and distribution.
Internship are not mandatory before beginning the course, but must be proven by the end of the 2nd semester at the latest. Otherwise, there will be no admission to examinations from the third study semester onwards.

Admission requirements

8-week pre-study internship, of which at least half must be completed before starting the course where possible. The remaining time must be completed at the latest by the end of the second semester (30 September or 31 March, depending on commencement of studies).
