Annotation

The Master’s degree course in "Applied Neurosciences in Sports & Exercise" aims to train experts who can demonstrate the effects of neuroscience in connection with sports and exercise. The curriculum in the Master of Science programme has a strong scientific focus. At the same time, as the "Applied" in the title of the degree course suggests, all content is put in a real-world context and implemented in application-oriented learning arrangements with "real people" (i.e. patients, amateur or professional athletes, older and younger people, students and professionals).

Admission requirements

The course requires a degree that: 1. has been obtained in a Sports Science, Health Science, Physiotherapy or Neuroscience discipline and 2. contains course components in at least two of the following three areas: a) Physiology at least 12 CP b) Statistics and Research Methods at least 12 CP c) Bachelor’s Thesis 12 credit points 3. with an overall grade of at least 2.5 (or an equivalent final grade from a university abroad) In addition: Proficiency in the English language at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
