Admission requirements

1. Proof of completed academic studies (at least six theoretical semesters/180 ECTS) in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject area obtained from a German higher education institution with an overall grade of 2.5 or better or an equivalent qualification. Or 2. Proof of completed academic studies (at least six theoretical semesters/180 ECTS) in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject area obtained from a German higher education institution with an overall grade of 3.5 or better or an equivalent qualification; In this case, above-average knowledge in science or professional experience in the field of mechanical engineering must be proven. 3. For applicants from abroad: Proof of a command of German (DSH-2 or TestDaF-4) 4. Additional university selection procedure (grade-based entrance restrictions)
