Admission requirements

1. Proof of completion of a degree course comprising at least 180 ECTS credits and at least six theoretical study semesters, a completed degree in Civil Engineering from a German institution of higher education or an equivalent degree. Applicants who have completed their first degree with a final examination grade of "good" or better will be admitted to the Master's course without any further aptitude procedures ; Student applicants with an overall examination result of 2.6 to 3.0 are required to provide proof of aptitude in the discipline by undergoing an aptitude procedure (admission interview). Or 2. Proof of an academic degree comprising at least 180 ECTS credits and at least six theoretical study semesters in a related subject area with a final examination grade of "good" or better from a German university or an equivalent academic degree. In this case, proof of subject-related aptitude must always be demonstrated in an aptitude procedure (admission interview).
