Annotation

Engineering and Management at TH Mannheim has been designed for students who want to combine solid business expertise with management of technology in real-world, challenge-driven contexts and gain their experiences in a truly international setting. You will develop essential skills to understand markets and technologies, customers and products, users and needs through project-based learning and close industry collaboration. Our study program and environment will enable you to develop a strong entrepreneurial mindset. You will learn to manage challenging business and technology contexts by building your profile on solid foundations in hands-on projects with a diverse range of partners from industry and service companies. Our curriculum is built around real challenges and opportunities from both engineering and business perspectives, preparing you to make informed decisions under uncertainty in today's fast-changing technology and market environments. This degree will enable you to turn ideas into meaningful impact, whether you want to start working in an established company or start up your own venture. Students of this program will be coming to Mannheim from all over, including Asia, the Americas and Europe. Together, you will live and study as part of an international team. All courses, including lectures, seminars and projects are offered in English. Students will also be supported in learning German well enough to start working in a German speaking company or to continue studying for a Master's Degree at German universities. Admission requirements

International students from countries that are not members of the EU must also provide proof of a successfully completed study aptitude test. The Test for Foreign Students (TestAS) in digital format in the core module with a TestAS score of at least 140 out of 200 is recognized as a successfully completed study aptitude test. Alternatively, the general Scholastic Aptitude Test in the form of SAT Reasoning (SAT I) may be taken. Here, a score of at least 1100 out of 1600 must be achieved. The test result must not be older than one year at the end of the application period. If results from both tests are submitted, the better test will be taken into account.

From the fall/winter semester 2017/18 onwards, higher education institutions in Baden-Württemberg will be charging tuition fees of EUR 1,500 per semester for international students who are not citizens of an EU or EEA country. However, the act includes certain exceptions. If the exception criteria apply to you and you provide the necessary documents of proof in due time before enrollment or re-registration, you do not have to pay tuition fees.
