The first part of the medical training (pre-clinical) takes place at the University of Mainz. The second part of the medical training (clinical) initially takes place at the University Medical Centre in Mainz for two semesters of the standard period of study and then (from the 7th study semester of the standard period of study) at the Medical Campus in Trier for four semesters of the standard period of study.
