This degree programme starts in the 2025 summer semester – subject to the approval of the responsible bodies. The subject "Comparative Studies / European Literature" can be selected as a core or a minor in the two-subject Bachelor of Arts degree course (core subject / minor subject). The subject "Comparative Studies / European Literature" in combination with the compulsory subject "French" can also be studied in the integrated German-French degree course with a binational academic degree (see https://www.studium.uni-mainz.de/internationale-studienprogramme/). Prospective students can familiarise themselves with the subject during a taster day (www.studium.uni-mainz.de/schnuppertage).
