Annotation

Personnel are an important factor for a company's success, because loyal and efficient employees are a competitive advantage. A key issue in human resources and staff management is therefore: what are the key factors that influence employee satisfaction and productivity? In the degree programme with vocational and academic elements in Human Resources and Staff Management, you will learn in a practical setting how to work with people in relation to economic and legal topics. You will deal with areas such as Operational Human Resources and Staff Management, Occupational and Organisational Psychology as well as Staff and Corporate Management. You will apply what you have learned directly at your practice partner. Depending on the location, your course will be offered either as a degree programme with vocational and academic elements or as a dual-degree myStudium course. Both models offer you interactive learning materials and lots of other benefits. In a degree programme with vocational and academic elements, you will attend lectures on campus or virtually two days per week. In the dual myStudium at IU, you can also use our learning AI and deepen your knowledge in regularly held accompanying events. Note: This degree course will be offered in Berlin for 7 semesters starting in April 2026. Subject to successful accreditation and government recognition. We expect the approval of the Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Science and Digital Society by the start of studies at the latest. To date, all IU International University programmes have been successfully accredited and approved on time
