Target group
Admission to the Master's degree program is possible with initial qualifications in Engineering, Business Administration and Business Engineering. This dual admission policy is a special feature of the offered study program at the University of Nordhausen. Those eligible for admission to the Master's degree course in Industrial Engineering are applicants with a suitable qualification from a first professionally qualifying degree worth at least 180 ECTS credits with a focus on either Business Administration or Engineering or Industrial Engineering at the Nordhausen University or a course either the same or similar in terms of content, scope and approach at another university. A suitable qualification requires an overall grade of 'good' or ECTS grade B.

Admission requirements
Applicants with a first professionally qualifying academic degree worth 210 ECTS credits, either with an Engineering or Industrial Engineering focus at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences or an identical degree or similar degree in terms of content, scope and focus from another university may also enrol on this degree course. Regular study time for these applicants is 3 semesters. Those eligible for admission to the Master's degree course in Industrial Engineering are applicants with a first professionally qualifying degree worth at least 180 ECTS credits, either with a Business Administration or Engineering focus at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences or an identical degree or similar degree in terms of content, scope and focus from another university.
