Target group
The Master's degree course in Taxation was for developed for graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Business Law. Graduates of Business Administration or Business Law Diplom degree courses and qualified lawyers can also emphasize their competence in tax law through this Master's degree course and thus improve their career prospects. If students aspire to take the tax auditing exam later on, an application can be made for recognition of credits in the examination area of Business Law in accordance with Section 13b of the German regulations for auditors (WPO). With successful completion of the study programme the professional examinations as a tax advisor/auditor are calculable.
Admission requirements
- Completed university degree (Bachelor's or Diplom degree). - At least one year of professional experience upon commencement of the course in the field of taxation by federal or state fiscal authorities. If you already have a tax clerk qualification or have had commercial training then a reduction may be possible. - Joint declaration from employer and employee (the applicant must declare that he/she is aiming for an advanced training course, which, among other things, will prepare him/her for the tax advice examination, and the employer, that they are prepared to release him/her to the extent required.) - Successful entrance examination - Command of English
