Annotation

The Bachelor's degree programme in Psychology at HMU offers in-depth training in the fields of Health Psychology, Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Educational Psychology and Occupational and Organisational Psychology. Even with a Bachelor's degree, career prospects open up in prevention and mental healthcare as well as in fields of activity in occupational and organisational psychology. However, the academic degree alone does not entitle you to work as a self-employed psychologist. As a rule, the Bachelor's degree is followed by a further Master's degree offering further specialisation. The degree course meets the professional requirements under Art. 9 of the Psychotherapists Act and thus lays the basis for the Master´s degree programme in Psychotherapy. The degree course is offered full-time at the Faculty of Health and can begin in both the winter and summer semesters.
