Admission requirements

Applicants can be enrolled for the Master of Laws degree course that have - obtained the title of Bachelor of Laws at the Hagen distance university or - have passed first state law examination/the first examination or - have completed a legal study programme with at least 210 ECTS with the title Bachelor of Laws or an equivalent degree at a university, of which at least 120 ECTS must have been achieved with the comparable legal content taught in the Bachelor of Laws course at the FernUniversität. Graduates who have completed a degree with 180 ECTS can also be admitted under certain conditions (for more details see application documents).
