Admission requirements

Admission to the degree course is granted, firstly, to those who have successfully completed the First State Law Examination or an equivalent degree obtained abroad or a Bachelor’s degree programme in Law earning the academic degree Bachelor of Laws in the amount of 210 ECTS credits and, secondly, generally at least one year of professional experience with a legal focus. The legal traineeship is recognised as relevant professional experience. Applicants whose Bachelor’s degree in Law comprises only 180 ECTS credits may apply for admission to the degree programme if they supplement their qualifications with relevant legal content amounting to at least 30 ECTS credits prior to commencement of studies (complementary studies).
