The following admissions and language requirements apply to the degree course:
- Proof of a first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree with a focus on Ecotrophology or related degree courses such as Domestic and Service Sciences in the Food Industry, Nutritional and Food Sciences, Dietetics worth at least 180 ECTS credits.
- Applicants must have a sufficient command of German. Proof must be provided upon enrolment in the form of a passed German language examination at level DSH-2. Applicants with German as their native language are excluded.
- Applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in English at least at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This does not apply to applicants who can make the proof of having completed a degree course taught entirely in English.
